Branch of Carnage was created in 2021 out of pure passion for art in all forms. 2022 ushered in an era centred on capturing the beauty of live music. After being granted permanent media approval from Alternative Waves Music Festival, owner Ary Vogelaar began making connections in the Alberta music scene; attending and capturing every local show that came to Medicine Hat. In 2023 Ary and her team started venturing out to different cities to capture shows. Branch of Carnage has expanded to professional, large scale shows and journalism and aims to keep growing and moving towards bigger things while still primarily focusing on helping smaller artists at an affordable rate because big or small, your art matters.
